Weeknotes: Week #29 - 2026

WIP: Read at your own risk

So, this week’s note is being written in a slightly different fashion. I realized last week that I am probably missing out on key highlights throughout the week so I have decided to write this as and when possible throughout nights and weekends. This means, that the notes would be less summarized as the relative importance of events fluctuates on a day to day basis and I would not have a bird’s eye view of the entire week before jotting this down. On the flipside, it also makes it very grounded and unfiltered, so let’s see how it goes.

  • Last week the only commits I have made are to my portfolio and even those are not much. After getting a job, the green squares are truly a vanity metric but there were also the report of me making some of the other kind of progress everyday. Now, I need to outgrow it. The magnitude of things I need to learn is far greater and using green squares might not suffice any longer.

  • This week, I am getting back to

    • Designing Data Intensive Applications
    • K8s Certification - Boot.dev
    • Some artworks to keep the creativity flowing
    • Finishing off “Originals” by Adam Grant.

This is being written early in the week. Let’s see how the wishlist sticks around by the end of the week.
